Affiliate Program Terms

Eligibility and approval

The affiliate program is approval-based. Applying does not guarantee acceptance, and we may approve, decline, or revoke participation at our discretion — for example, if your promotion methods conflict with these terms. You must have a trnr account in good standing.

How commission works

Once approved, you receive a personal invite link. When a new subscriber signs up through your link and starts a paid trnr membership, you earn a commission on the membership revenue we actually collect from them:

• The commission rate is 25% of the subscriber's membership payments (the rate in effect at the time of each payment).
• Commission is earned for the first 12 months of that subscriber's membership, starting from their first paid payment.
• Commission accrues only on payments we successfully collect through Stripe. Web (card) subscriptions only — purchases made through the Apple App Store are billed by Apple and are not eligible for commission.

Attribution

A referred subscriber is credited to the first affiliate whose link they used at signup, and a given subscriber can be credited to only one affiliate. You earn commission only on subscribers you genuinely referred. You may not refer yourself, your own alternate accounts, or accounts you control.

Relationship to referral rewards

The affiliate program and the standard peer-referral reward (free subscription months) are mutually exclusive. While you are an approved affiliate, subscribers you refer earn you cash commission and do not count toward free referral months.

Payouts

Payouts are made through Stripe Connect. To receive payouts you must complete Stripe's onboarding (identity verification and bank details). Until onboarding is complete, commission accrues but cannot be paid out.

Accrued commission is paid out once your balance reaches a minimum threshold of $50. Payouts are sent as transfers to your connected Stripe account. We may change the payout threshold or schedule with notice.

Refunds, chargebacks, and clawbacks

Commission is only owed on revenue we keep. If a payment that generated commission is later refunded, charged back, or disputed, the related commission is reversed. If it had not yet been paid out, it is removed from your balance; if it had already been paid out, the amount is deducted from your future payouts.

Prohibited conduct

To stay in the program, do not:

• create fake accounts, self-refer, or otherwise generate inauthentic signups
• spam, or post your link where it violates a platform's rules
• make false or misleading claims about trnr, its features, or pricing
• imply you are employed by, or speak officially for, trnr
• use paid ads that bid on trnr's brand or trademarks without written permission
• offer unauthorized cash rebates or incentives that misrepresent the offer

We may withhold commission tied to activity that violates these rules.

Taxes

You are responsible for any taxes on commission you earn. Depending on where you live and how much you earn, we or Stripe may be required to collect tax information and issue tax forms (such as a 1099 in the United States). You agree to provide accurate tax and identity information when requested. These terms are not tax advice.

Independent relationship

Participating in the affiliate program does not make you an employee, agent, partner, or joint venturer of trnr. You have no authority to bind trnr or make commitments on its behalf.

Changes and termination

We may change the commission rate, term, threshold, or these terms going forward, and we will surface material changes in-app. Changes apply to commission earned after the change takes effect. Either of us may end your participation at any time. On termination, commission already validly earned and not subject to clawback will be paid out at the next scheduled payout, subject to the minimum threshold; we may withhold amounts tied to fraud or terms violations.
