Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-05-28

These are the terms you agree to when you use trnr. We have tried to keep them short and direct. If anything is unclear, email support@trnr.fit and we will explain.

Acceptance

By creating a trnr account or using the trnr service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. We may update these terms; the version posted on this page with the latest effective date is the one in force. We will surface a notice in-app for material changes. Continued use after a change counts as acceptance.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use trnr. By using the service you confirm you meet that requirement and have the legal capacity to agree to these terms.

Your account

Right now trnr accounts are created by signing in with Google. You're responsible for keeping your Google account secure and for activity that happens under your trnr account. If you suspect unauthorized access, email support@trnr.fit.

Acceptable use

Don't use trnr to:

  • upload content you don't have the right to upload
  • harass, impersonate, or harm other users
  • probe, scrape, or attempt to break the service or other users' accounts
  • upload content that is illegal where you live

We can remove content or suspend accounts that violate these rules.

Your content

Your videos, activities, plans, photos, and notes are yours. You grant trnr a limited license to store, process, and display them as needed to run the service for you — for example, to render the skeleton overlay on a form video, or to display your activity on your profile if you mark it public. The license ends when you delete the content or your account.

Subscriptions and billing

trnr offers a free tier and paid Pro/Elite tiers. Paid plans are billed by Stripe and auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel. You can cancel any time; your paid tier stays active through the end of the period you already paid for.

Refunds: we generally do not issue refunds for partial periods. If something went wrong on our end, email support@trnr.fit and we will make it right.

Third-party integrations

trnr connects with third-party services including Strava, Garmin, COROS, and Zwift. You bring your own credentials and authorize each connection. If you disconnect an integration in trnr or revoke access at the third-party service, we will stop syncing new data from it. Data we already received remains on your trnr account until you delete it.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account from the Profile screen. Deletion locks the account immediately, cancels any active subscription, and fully removes your data after a 30-day grace period. If you change your mind during the grace window, email support@trnr.fit and we can restore it.

Termination by us

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms or abuse the service. Where reasonable we will give you notice. On termination by us for cause, your right to use the service ends immediately; refunds are at our discretion.

Not medical advice

trnr provides fitness data, training plans, and form analysis for informational and motivational purposes only. trnr is not a medical provider and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Consult a qualified physician before beginning any training program, and stop and seek care if you experience pain or symptoms during exercise.

As-is service

The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any calculation it produces (form grades, VDOT, training load, etc.) will be accurate for your physiology.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, trnr and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits or data, arising out of or related to your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising under these terms will be brought in the state or federal courts located in California, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
